Grow
We are committed to equipping children, youth and
families to live out their faith at home and at church
and wherever they may go. Our recently remodeled
and expanded building offers abundant space for
recreation, fellowship and learning activities that
enrich children, youth, and their families.

Join with women of all ages for book discussion,
faith conversation, prayer and support. This
group reads a wide variety of books and meets
on occasional Saturdays.
For April we selected a Max Lucado book
entitled “He Chose The Nails”. It will be a good
inspiration to lead us up to Easter. The date for
the meeting is April 9th at 8:30 am. If you
have any questions, contact Holly Johnson.
Women’s
Book Club
Women of the ELCA is an organization committed
to bringing women together for study, support
and action. There are synodical and churchwide
components of the organization.
All women of the congregation are welcome to
participate in any of the activities. General
meetings with programs and refreshments are
held on the first Wednesday of Sept, Oct, Nov,
April and May. WELCA also hosts a Julefest holday
buffet in December and a Lenten meal on Ash
Wednesday. There are opportunities to be
involved in service to others at the synod and
churchwide level.
Leadership of WELCA is provided by the General
Board consisting of four elected officers and a
representative of each of our five Circles.
Announcements about WELCA activities can be
found in the Lifelines newsletter and the Sunday
bulletin. For more information, contact the church
office.

Women’s
Circle
Our Savior’s Women of the
ELCA currently has five
circles that meet monthly
from September through
May. These are groups of
women that gather for
fellowship, Bible study and
service. Some meet at
homes and others at the
church. The yearly Bible
study is published month by
month in Lutheran Woman
Today, the magazine of
Women of the ELCA, and is
studied by small groups
nationwide. All the circles
are eager to welcome new
participants. Contact the
church office for more
information.
This is where students in grades K-5 find out
how great it can be to join with friends for fun
and fellowship. Once a month this group
gathers for an activity with parents as
chaperones and/or helpers.
Little League
Middle School Students (grades 6-8) enjoy this
group because this is where friends gather for
fun and service in Jesus’ name. They might
help out decorating the church at Christmas, or
go bowling, or search high and low at the
popular Manhunt at the Mall, but it’s always a
great time.
Junior League
All high school students are welcome to
participate in our Youth Ministry Teams. We
meet weekly during the school year after the
10:30 service to have a light lunch and plan
events for the church family. Some of the past
activities have been the Middle
School
Haunted Forest, The Annual Video
Tourney, and Family Game Days.
Several of Our Savior’s youth have
also created drama’s to enrich the
church service, traveled with the Old
Testament Rewind Drama, and played
in worship bands through-out the year.
Our latest venture has been to create
the AWE service, an alternative
worship experience held once a month
in our Great Hall. We welcome you
to join us!
is a fellowship group for area high school
students. Recharge! meets every Wednesday
evening around 8:00. Location alternates
